BREXIT NEGOTIATIONS: The second round of Brexit talks is under way. - BBC News

The second round of talks between the UK and EU negotiating teams is under way.
Brexit Secretary David Davis has called on both sides in the negotiations on the UK’s departure from the European Union to “get down to business”.
Mr Davis travelled to Brussels ahead of the second round of formal talks.
He said his priority was to “lift the uncertainty” for EU citizens living in the UK and Britons living in the EU.
The EU says there must be substantial progress on this – and on a financial settlement and the issue of the Irish border – before trade talks can begin.
In a brief appearance alongside EU chief negotiator Michel Barnier as their teams began this week’s talks, Mr Davis said there had been a good start to the process and it was time to get to the “substance of the matter”.
Mr Barnier said the negotiators would “now delve into the heart of the matter”.
Talks will focus on citizens’ rights, finance and “other separation issues”, with separate negotiating teams set up for each.
Issues relating to Northern Ireland will also be addressed, with Mr Davis – who has returned to London – and Mr Barnier expected to give an update on the progress made in a press conference on Thursday.

are over 65s allowed to give evidence in court or to the police? I just had a discussion with 2 pensioners about a phone charger, it wasn't working so there was no light, one of them thought they could see a red light, the other a green one, even if the charger was working the light would have been blue

Conservatives don't know what they want – they are seemingly a bunch of absolute tools that are so out of touch with the population they are meant to lead. Markets are going to remain insecure because May and her party don't have a clue. Meanwhile while elections, talks and debates were going on Mrs May claimed she was "making a brexit plan" and so she didn't debate other party leaders as much because that was more important; Yet somehow all this time has passed and she is still no closer to any plan what so ever or even know what Britan want. It's so disheartening having poor leaders
