I like landscapes. And landscape mode. After launching rockets on Saturday, we stopped at the foothills of Sierra Nevada to take this tele photo. This road connects the middle of nowhere with the middle of nowhere, and is aptly called the 26 Mile Road. There is not much traffic so I had no problem standing in the middle of the road.
I took three bracketed exposures and processed them into an HDR photo to enhance the micro-contrast. I reduced the color saturation a bit and added some vignetting to draw the eyes to the center.
