Stop the Hate: 49 Celebrities Honor 49 Victims of Orlando Tragedy in Ryan Murphy-Produced Tribute

For too long, a toxic combination of anti-LGBTQ hate and easy access to guns has put LGBTQ people at disproportionate risk of violence and murder. On June 12, forty-nine innocent people — most of them Latinx — were killed at Pulse nightclub in Orlando simply because of who they were. It’s on all of us to keep their memories alive, and to ensure part of their legacy becomes meaningful action to end hate violence. Join the Human Rights Campaign and urge your legislator to support legislation that will ensure LGBTQ people are safe and equal in every community and find out how to support the survivors and families of the Orlando victims. They all we're brave, amazing people, they left us to soon. I can't believe it's already been a year since this act of hate had been commited…this was a horrible act that happened….

Even though I don't know anyone that died or even went into the Pulse club I still feel horrible about what happened and I wish them peace. I forever will remember this act, I still cry everyday and everytime I hear this story. They we're all to young…..they didn't deserve this.

My cousin told me the story about how he was on the subway a few days ago, it was the anniversary of the pulse shooting, he was wearing a gay pride pin and a lady came up to him, crying, and gave him a hug and said, "I'm sorry." The story really touched my heart because like my cousin, I too am gay.

Instead of arguing over who was in this video, or whatever.. Stop paying attention to that. This video is about the victims. Not about the celebrities. They are telling the victims stories. Listen.
